SPECS Cities Frequencies

These are the local net frequencies each city uses on Monday nights.  The local Net Control for each city announces the frequency to be used that night during the Main Net when asked.  This is usually a few minutes after 8 pm.

Los Altos

 Net begins about 8:05 pm, after frequency is announced on Main Net

  • First Monday: Simplex 146.595 MHz

  • Second Monday: K6LOS 2 meter repeater at 146.940 MHz (-) 123.0 Hz PL tone

  • Third Monday: KH6N repeater at 440.875 MHz (+) 100 Hz PL tone

  • Fourth Monday: K6LOS 440 repeater at 441.525 MHz (+) 123.0 Hz PL tone

  • Fifth Monday: K6LOS 2 meter repeater at 146.940  MHz (-) 123.0 Hz PL tone

​Los Altos Hills

     W6LAH Repeater at 146.745 MHz (+) 110.9 Hz PL tone

Mountain View

 Net begins about 8:05 pm, after frequency is announced on Main Net    

     Simplex 146.535 MHz  (used most often)

     Simplex 147.495 MHz (often called the "alternate" frequency)

Palo Alto and North

 Net begins at 7:30 pm, check-ins taken until 7:50 pm.   

     First Monday of the month: Simplex 147.540 MHz with100 Hz PL tone

     Other Mondays: W6EI repeater at 443.825  MHz (+) 151.4 Hz PL tone

Stanford

Net begins at 7:30 pm.  Check-ins are taken until 7:40 pm.

     N6BDE repeater at 440.200 MHz (+) 123.0 Hz PL tone

Sunnyvale

     K6SNY repeater at 145.170 MHz (-) 94.8 Hz PL tone

NASA / Ames

     This group takes check-ins on another day, and only reports the total to the SPECS Main net.
